How do i enable Hide CD-R Media and on clone cd and amplily weak sectors

First, are you using CloneCD v4.0 ? If not then get it. This will put a Icon in your taskbar that will let you hide CD-R media.

Secondly, to amplify weak sectors you should Download ClonyXXL, this should let you amplify weak sectors if needed.

BUT!!!!!!! Take Note that Reading "Weak Sectors" is illegal in the USA and Japan, and I dont think any version of CloneCD used in those areas will be able to read them. I dont know this for sure but it's just a guess.

Yep! you can even set it to Germany if you want. Just leave your language on english. Clone CD gets the info from Windows settings. I am not sure whether Canada works, but Germany did.

you change your regional settings. this is old news. i believe it's even a sticky @ the clonecd forum on cdfreaks.

I read what you said about changing region settings, I am not sure what you mean. Is it CloneCD or on the computer? Where can I find this out at? Any details on this would be appreciated. Thanks for the help to us that has not been doing this as long.

Thanks for all the help. I have been able to copy comanche 4. It can copy sd2, I had to change my region in my computer as I am In the USA, to get clonecd to work. And use clony XXL, So, the information on the Forum is accurate as to what can copy sd2 and what is compatible with clonecd. Thanks again,

Yes but what do you change ?

In WinXP Region you can change your location in two places.

And even if I change them both, is cloneCD supposed to say in the settings that my burner has weak sectors on ? I dont see that anyware in the settings.

But I did set my settings all to Germany, and I tried to copy a SDv2 game and it worked so I know it can do it.

I was just wondering if the weak sector setting is somewhere in cloneCD 4.0 ?
