Phillips CDD 3610 2x2x6x Internal IDE and W2k
Hi all, I know this is a old drive but it is still in good working condition
and I would appreciate it if someone could help me... I can see this drive in dos and in windows 9x, but when I go into windows 2000 pro, w2k cannot see the drive? My system is PIII 933MHz, Asus CUV4X M/B, it;s on the secondary channel as a slave drive with a pioneer 16x DVD drive as master.. I have tried disabling DMA for the secondary channel but still have no luck.. The only think I can think of is that the IDE cables I use r ATA 66 cables... but the thing is the drive works in windows 9x with the same config.. I have disable DMA for that drive in BIOS, set it to P mode 0 (this is the transfer mode of the Drive as stated in the specs manuals), still no luck in w2k but perfect in windows 9x ((Any Ideas?? Thank in advance, Slats |
