Phillips CDD 3610 2x2x6x Internal IDE and W2k

Hi all, I know this is a old drive but it is still in good working condition
and I would appreciate it if someone could help me...

I can see this drive in dos and in windows 9x, but when I go into windows
2000 pro, w2k cannot see the drive?

My system is PIII 933MHz, Asus CUV4X M/B, it;s on the secondary channel as a
slave drive with a pioneer 16x DVD drive as master..
I have tried disabling DMA for the secondary channel but still have no
luck..

The only think I can think of is that the IDE cables I use r ATA 66
cables... but the thing is the drive works in windows 9x with the same config..

I have disable DMA for that drive in BIOS, set it to P mode 0 (this is the
transfer mode of the Drive as stated in the specs manuals), still no luck in
w2k but perfect in windows 9x ((

Any Ideas??

Thank in advance,

Slats
