Blurred Image

Hi, i'm using a pal ps2 and trying to play ntsc games on it.
I'm using that ntsc to pal converter from maplins to give me the game in colour however when using this i find that the text becomes much harder to read. Is this the case with everyone or just me?

thanks

the conversion process is quite lossy, so that's normal unless you buy a 200$+ converter.
if you are in europe, you might have a scart and rgb capable tv. if so, get a RGB scart cable for a few bucks (PSX one will work too).
that way you get full color AND the best possible picture.

then it's not an RGB scart cable. just scart doesn't mean it's RGB. it's impossible for RGB to be b/w.

Could it be my tv then as it doesnt support 50hz?

The supposed rgb scart cable was called that when i bought it from the suppliers and it appears to be fully loaded (all the pins there)
