HP 8250i or or HP 9300

Do these drives have any difference's besides the speed? i.e. One can copy SD2 and the other can't.

Exactly the same drive u can overclock the 8250 to a 9300 as I have done ##### out cdrinfo.com does not do Sd2 but apart from that cracking cdr1
