ps2 Booting

I'm having problems with my gt2 usa game booying on my ps2
i have the neo 2.2 but this game just wont boot

i have tried ar2 hold reset nothing

can any 1 help

the game is a ntsc not pal but the game works fine on psx but will
not boot on ps2

help

imports will not boot unless you make a copy and patch the country code to PAL. use the universal ASA patcher from megagames.com.
