No CD Patch for Vacation

does anyone have Sims Vacation?, and if so, has anyone downloaded the No CD Patch for it?...i am a slow learner...so if someone can just explain it to me the easiest way to get it installed i would greatly appreciate it.

i've tried startin to do it... here is what i have so far, in my Sims folder...i have the Sims.zip and then i have the Winace icon next to it, that says Sims under it...at the moment, it is addin the files for Sims.zip...it also extracted those files before addin them.

I haven't seen one of those yet, Where did you find it? I've only seen a fixed exacutable at gamefix so far, but I have been waiting for the NO CD fix to come out so I can put my disk away and not have to worry about finding or scuffing my original disk.
Anyway to unzip a fix with Winace, simply start winace, select the fix file and EXTRACT it with Winace into the Sims Vacation game directory folder. If it ask to replace the existing files select to do so. If it does not it is more than likely is an exacutable file and then you will have to go to your game directory where you unaced the file to exicute it by simply clicking on the fix exe. and following its directions or let it replace the files it prompts to replace. I hope that helps.

thanks...i got the no CD patch figured out...someone from a sim's group i belong to, sent me a link to his site that had the patch.

would you let me know where to download that patch (No CD fix). I needed it badly!!!!!! or send to me thru email that file if ytou could.

i honestly dunno if i can send you the url since it's from another member's own site, who also belongs to the other Sim's group that i do...my Sim's group is kinda touchy about that stuff...but if you really want that patch, i would suggest, being a member of

once you get there, you'll want to join the killersims group.

then i'm sure that person will give you the URL from their site, or someone might know of somewhere else to get it, if you join the killersims group.
