Harry Potter

Help i am new to this copying of protected CD's so will need lots of help as as well as being new i am not fully up to speed on the techniques required.
I have read other posting on the subject so have an idea of what to do but am still failing miserably.

1.) Is a temp directory the same as just creating a new folder? (SORRY BUT I DID WARN YOU I WAS A NEWBIE)

2.) After creating a 'Temp Directory' which version of Unsafedisc do
i use on it and how do i do this as i have played with unsafe disc but have not got it to do anything.

3.) Copying the .dll's to the temp directory is OK but how do i find the Main.exe. Is it the command thet i would type in if i did not have autoplay?
I think this is a good start but will definatly need more help so be warned
thanks

You can use a tool called Safedisk Analyser which tells you what version of SD it is. To save you time i'll let you in on the secret that you should use the latest Unsafedisk 2 on HP (something like 2.40.10)

The main exe is the exe that you start to play the game. For example if you double click on a desktop shortcut to start the game then the exe that the shortcut points to is the main exe. You can use a copy of this exe from the hard drive (where the shortcut points to) or you can locate it on the CD.

Hope it helps
