Max Payne help

Sometimes when I load Max Payne I get an error message saying it has caused an error with ~DF394B.TMP. I can't seem to do anything to fix it. I can't even find the file to see what it is. I tried closing all other programs except for systray and explorer and that didn't work. What's really mind-boggling to me is it doesn't do it every time. Sometimes it starts up just fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot. Didn't realize that was the problem.
