SCSI vs. EIDE....

I'm about to purchase a new burner (plextor 12/10/32)...I'm debating on which format to get this burner in, SCSI or EIDE. I've read most of the reviews on both and my concensus is that there's really not much of a difference between them to justify buying the more expensive SCSI format. It seems like EIDE has made great advances in speed and stability. Is my assumption correct? Please e-mail me at [email protected] with your greatly appreciated opinions, if possible.
