Need help in Cracking my USA version of Armada 2. Anyone help???

hey guys, the UK versions on the site won't let me play multiplayer on gamespy. It says incompatible.
I think its is because I am using the UK version of the app to run it and it is trying to run the game wit US files instead of UK files which is not letting me get onto gamespy to play a game.
I beleive that is why I got the incompatible next to my name.
Anyway, if anyone else in the USA or Canada has got the UK version to get you onto multiplayer, let me know how you did it.
If not, can someone point me towards at tutorial or something on how to crack the game to take the CD check out of it???
