Tape to CD

I am trying to find a piece of software that will let me record a music tape to my hard drive / CDR. I am connecting my stero with the ear phone socket to the mic of my sound card. Does any one know if their is some software around to help me do this

A good program for adjusting the sound levels is called Sound Forge 4.5. You can filter out some of the hiss and "normalise" the record levels so that music from different tapes all come out at the correct level without distortion. Takes some practice though to get it right.

use jet audio, it's very easy to use.
jet audio convert the (tape) to wave and after you can use easy cd creator to make your cd
