Tick Tick sounds from back up

I just install NeoKey and got some back up games. When I boot it up it takes a long time and and long time to load some part in the game too. During the loading the screen is black and u can hear the PS2 makin tick tick sounds. Is it the NeoKey problem or the backup wasnt perfect??! help

What Media are you using?
Does it do this with all your backups?
Which game backup is it you are running?

Need some more info first before we can help properly

I'm using imation cdr. It is doing it to all the cd.

It could be the media that you are using. Does it tick on original games? If it does it is most likely a problem with the chip if it doesn't try using a different media. Verbatim is the best I have tried so far.
