A simple question?

I have a Plextor 16x10x40 with CloneCD, i have copied psx games which are supposed to be protected, also SD2 games, they all work fine and is that right?

I also want to ask if you can patch games with CloneCD?

Most of the games that you can copy are, ahem..."backed up" so to speak - they've already been cracked and therefore can be copied with Nero or Clone CD or CDRWin.

I don't know whether you can just slap an original game in your machine and simply copy it with Clone CD using RAW read method.
If you're able to do this with the majority of your original games, then that sounds really interesting, as your writer is able to fully copy the protection across to the other blank disc.

I'd be interested to find out more if your approach has been successful :-)

Don't know about patches for Clone CD, most seem to be for CD-R win. Sorry.

I do use the PSX originals and they work fine, i have copied Gunman Chronicles too is that SD2 does ne1 know?
