Japan PS2 backup to work on US ????

Is anybody in this forum able to use their japan backup and make another copy that will work with the US ps2 one. My had been mod with neo2.2 and using GS 1.6 to swap. Is there a patch or something to make with work with the GS????

i have a US PS2 with internal modchip and GS2 1.6, it works fine with all my backed up games, including a japanese ridge racer 5, which didn't need any patch.
But Fantavision (the original disc) didn't even boot.
