Help needed with Nero write speeds

Can anyone tell me how to change the write speed options on Nero 5.5.5.4.
When I copy a disc the lowest speed available is 4x. This normally works ok for most games but it failed with the "Italian Job" How do I get Nero to offer 2x and 1x options. I am using an Acer 2010A writer (40 x 20 x 10) and I think I need to add write speed options within the Nero software but I dont have a clue how to do it.
