CDRW's - many problems not one solution!!!! - Help
I have been trying to back up a psx with no success!!
I have a Gold#### CD-RW CED 8080B writer and have tried CDWin, CDClone - ( I don't think my burner is compatible), Nero, Fireburner, PSX Copy 2000. I have tried using patches with CDWin & have searched these forums for all the tips and how to's, also all the links etc for good advice, but still no luck!!!! ( I must be thick!!!) I just read on one post that CDRW's are not recognised by Playstations (1) and I'm thinking "oh Shit!" cause this is what I've used all along. Can anyone please confirm or deny whether CDRW's can be used for backing up PSX's, also do you have to have a SCSI card to use PSX 2000 or CDclone??? - Thanks |

Playstations do NOT recognise CDRWs.
You do not need SCSi. PSXCopy 2000 is crap and useless. |

Your burner works fine with CDRWin for unprotected games, whether it will burn patched games is an issue still being #####ed by another forum member.
As far as CloneCD goes you can only try. It might be worth #####ing out Fireburner as well - ####://www.fireburner.com and Blindread/Write - ####://www.blindwrite.com/blindwrite.htm |
