PAL DVD on JAP PS2

I have a JAP PS2 (SCHP 15000) with Modchip.com original chip that plays Jap backups and PAL backups (patched) perfectly via swap trick.

But a PAL DVD won't play. I get a Jap message prefixed "TV". Anyone got any ideas please?

I thought Japan/UK = Region 2 so no big problem expected.

Try www.gamefreax.de for information on playing multi-region DVD's by tapping in a code at boot (I think it's boot, but I know there is a code listed on the site!).
This should help ya out!

Tnaks - but the gamefreax site provides codes only for region 1 DVD's and then only with v1.00 Utility Disk (Mine's 1.01). So - still stuck!
