What color cd to use?

Hi I have an Mp3 player and gameenhancer 2 in 1 Mod clip and does it matter what color the bottom of the cd you use to backup playstation games? And can backup games wear out your playstation faster or are they just the same as any store bought game?

i think u can use pretty much ne colour dyed disk. In the past i have used gold, light and darker blues and silvery gold. At the moment i am using silvery gold memorex discs and i haven't had any problems or errors with one. I use them for all my psx games and they work fine.

You can order them in packs of 50 (on a spindle, no cases) for £20 from www.jungle.com

They are called 'Memorex 80 mins (700MB) and they can handle up to a 12x write.

I recommend them, becasue if i use them then they must be pretty good

l8er,

4nim4l.

P.S u gotta watch out for some cheapo disks because sometimes they r cut with a slightly larger circle for the spindle and have trouble spinning. Try and avoid PC LINE discs too. They r cheap and nasty (these r the Dixons, Currys and PC world disks btw - i used to work there so i should know how crap they are )

Yep again i agree the darker the better, I've previously used TDK, MEMOREX, PIONEER, VERBATUM and also the cheap 100 packs you can get. Had no hassle with any of them.
