copies to be patched

I have backups wich worked in my PS1, but not on my PS2. They need to be patched. How do I do this and wich software do I need for this patching.

pal ps1 backups don't need to be patched unless the are copy protected. usa ps1 backups always need to be patched. this is why you CAN'T play original usa ps1 games. use ppf'o'matic for the patching. and use cdrwin to burn. don't use a crack on cdrwin because it will make a lot of coasters if you have a bad crack.
