Driver 2 Strange????

Firstly I managed to get hold of PSX copy 6.2. I used it to copy Driver 2. I am having a few problems though.
Firstly the Infograms intro at the Beginning is all jumpy, the road signs when driving are unreadable(They are a purple sort of colour), so of the cars look really weird (no colour), most of the animations (freaturing tanner ect) are jumpy and the sound is too, the game runs slow sometimes.
I have a Hewlett packard 8200 series and I wrote the CD at 2x. Should I try writing Slower? no errors came up when the game as copied. Please help!!!
