You can get a modchip from modchip.com, you need that to play back-ups

You don't have to dish out the money and time for a mod chip to play a backup, you can always get a bootdisk, or make one. Always use all of your resources, and never bite on one reply saying to do something, that will cost you money, and your psx for sometime, with shipping back and forth, unless you dish out some cash on overnight delivery.

Just use clone cd if its supported by your burner.

Just goto www.cloneclinic.dabsol.co.uk and and download the latest demo 4 clonecd.

Settings 4 Psx using clone cd.

Reading:
Read SubChannel Data from Data Tracks: ON
Read SubChannel Data from Audio Tracks: ON

Writing:
Don't Repair SubChannel Data: ON

The demo version of clone only lets u burn at 2x's. Reading is at any speed u want. But make sure u r doubling the read speed. Eg: if it burns at 2x's read it at 4x's or higher.

Also use your burner as the reader. U r more likely to get a better copy.

Has yor psx been chipped?
