Need help with a hardware issue

My DC has no problem booting anything, originals or backups, except for Alone in the Dark 4. I've tried three different copies, all originals. They all booted fine on other DC's but not mine. I'm wondering if my laser is out of adjustment? Or what else the problem could be. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
