Alright where there is replies, sort by kilobytes, in other words, click on the box labeled KB. It will sort them in smallest to largest or largest to smallest. Scroll up or down and you will find the files.
Either that or just right click on one of the replies, click find and type in the name of the game you are looking for. It will send all the results to Mark List 1. ~The Masked M0M0~

www.usenetserver.com
www.newscene.com these are good usenet providers .... they cost money ,but they give you also a guarantee to have what you are searching for ..the posts there are near 100% complete they carry all the binary groups and again complete ! if you use free usenet servers ,i bet it will be a hard work to get all the rars you need cuze there are absolutely missing parts all the time ,the binary groups have a mass posting every day, lots of giga bytes per day ,... and i cannot believe that any of the free usenet servers carry them at all complete , it costs but you get ..so easy .... that you only see replies .... thats normal ..cuze they mabe do not carry the binaries ...why should they ,who would pay their traffic then ? if you think about that a dreamcast group carries up to 10 days game posts ,... thats mabe 35 gigs only for dc games in 1! group .... the free servers offer you mabe that reply things and mabe mabe some binaries ,... but a rar has mabe 87 splitted files ,.... so like testnews.execpc.com does ,they only have scrambled binaries ,some are there some not like file 1 2 5 7 14 20 21 29 of 87 no one needs that ... )sign up ,you get mabe 7 servers then with t1 speed to download ,on both you can have multiple connections if you use newsbin pro if you are in the mabe dreamcast group (subscribed) load mabe 30000 messages thats mabe the amount of a one day post ,after that sort them for "subject" newsbin pro shows you now all the files and each should have mabe 19....MB they should be all the same size just cklick then on the little left box beside the file ..and newsbin downloads the file direct to a rar or whatelse it is .... if you enable multiple connections ,it will download as much files you choosed same time , that is great if you have a pretty fast connection but the download speed is mabe limited ,.... so you can anyways download with highest speed splitted to mabe 6 files ,.....thats great .... checkout www.binnews.com it shows you whats posted everyday in the usenet , per day there are mabe 5-10 games posted ,...so if you see a game in the list which is mabe 2 days ago ...download mabe 60000 to 80000 headers ,....it should give you the two days then ...complete ,.... as said you pay a mabe first moment expensive prize ,but what it offers you for that ,.. you will soon understand what i mean ,... no more ftp hunting ,etc etc ,... its all there ,the usenet rocks )and not only for dc ...everything is there o -day first seen on the usenet ...movies ,games etc etc .... greez muppey if you are not from the usa check out for premium news services around your country but first check the groups listing there if they carry them all ,a good server has a rentition up to 10 days for binaries and a good speed rate like usenetserver.com or newscene ... |

if anyone gets pissed here now for
me posting that ,.... a commercial usenet service is a 100 % legal thing ,what you do with that service is everyones own thingy,... i only talked about how it works to get a complete binary file , so if you want a save copy of your original its great to check that out i do not support piracy in any way with that )its legal ..legal ...legal .... LOL so if the owner of this board wants to delete my post ,do it ,....scorpion or anyone else ,.... i didnt felt like offering something illegal with something which isnt illegal ,... but mabe you are right .... greez again muppey |

Another good News service is http://www.easynews.com .
Their service costs $9.98 USD per month and gives you up to 6gb of downloads a month. With EasyNews you don't even need a newsreader to download attached files, since they extract all files from the messages and provide them on a webpage for download. This is very convenient (and their service is also very LEGAL!) |

Don't know about any of your ISPs, but Road Runner provides a news server that has all I need.
Don't think I can post the binary newsgroup I get all my complete games from, without breaking the rules. But they have a lot of uploaders and people willing to do full reposts. Though granted my current problem, with locating all the pieces parts for Hooligans Shenmue II, not as many people repost the one I need. Hell, just saw a complete reposts of SOA there a few hours back. Hell looking at it now appears to be a full reposts of Mars Matrix, Sonic Adventure 2, Resident Evil CODE: Veronica, and Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX. ~TMM~

Some ISPs are running scared about liability concerns in copyright infringement.
Although My ISP's original news server wasn't the greatest in the world, as they tended to roll the larger binaries groups too often to make them useful (by the time the last of 30 files was uploaded, the first one could have already been deleted), they were better than what they came up with when the converted to regional servers. Now, as the ISP's email notice states, they have removed many of the alt.binaries newsgroups because of possible copyright infringement that goes on in the groups. Needless to say, not all ISPs will allow the alt.binaries groups without close scrutiny. BTW, my ISP is SBC (Southwestern Bell Communications, parent company of Southwestern Bell, PacBell, and several other companies). |
