how do u play resident evil on dreamcast if its copied

hi im having this problem when i just finished killing a tyrant on resident evil code veronica it said to insert disc 2 but when i put disc 2 it doesnt load (the game is not a selfboot game i have to use the boot disc to play it) what can i do play to play disc 2 i need help

Just a thought, but did you try to place the boot disc into the drive and then when ready, insert the second disc? Probably won't work, but it's worth a shot.

This was the first game I bought with my Dreamcast, been a long time since I played it, but I think it saves to the VMU right before it asks you to switch discs. RE Code: Veronica was one of the first games supported by Utopia's Boot Disc.

So my thought is, when it asks you to change discs, turn off the DC, put the Boot Disc back in, when it prompts you for a game, put the second disc of REC:V in and it should load.
