Newbie in Utopia

Hi, I'm very new to the whole DC scene. For the last couple of days I've been reading how to make my own games and so far I've gathered that I need a boot disk. I found the Utopia v1.1 cdi file and I downloaded a trial Disk Juggler. I just dragged the file and it asked if I wanted it as an image, I said no and it made the CD for me...but it doesn't seem to do anything in my dreamcast. There was also a file_id.diz in the zip file, should I have put that on too??? I really need help, I'm a huge Newbie. Any good tutorials or info on how to properly make the boot disk would be great!!! Thanks
