Need Serious Help...I'm a... BEGINNER.

OK. Here the deal. I need to know how to burn Dreamcast games. I have a DVD ROM drive and a CD-RW. I have a 56K modem. Right now all I wanna do is copy all of my games. (My parents are divorced and I have a DC at both places.) It would be nice to download games to but right now I'd settle for just being able to back up my games.

#1. - Register with the message forum
#2. - Read the FAQ and RIPPING tutorials found at http://www.dccopyworld.com
#3. - Obtain programs described in the RIPPING tutorials mentioned above
#4. - Buy or build a Serial cable to hook your Dreamcast up to your PC.
#5. - Rip a game to your hard drive
#6. - Extract the files using the programs described in the ripping tutorials above
#7. - Patch & hack files, downsample movie files, rip or modify audio tracks, and rip unnecessary items such as foreign language files as necessary to make the game fit onto a CD-R
#8. - When you're finished with your first attempt - maybe a week or so - post any questions you need answered here.

-- OR --

Find someone who has a broadband connection to download files for you that are already set up for burning. Maybe you even know someone who already has the discs and can make copies for you.

Good luck.
