All my movie DVDs are green?????
Hi,
I have a PS2 (no mods) with a very expensive gray PS1 Sony scart cable ($40) which I used for my PS1 for years, and now use for my PS2 games, it is a very good cable for playing games, very nice picture..... However, when I play movie DVDs they are all green????? How can I solve this????? I heard something about a wire on the PCB???? I have a v4 PAL PS2..... Thanx in advance..... Greetings.....tHe_BiNk........ |

Hi,
I have a BLAZE scart lead which has a DVD switch that cuts out the green tint whilst watching dvds. The REGION X dvd disk will also sort your problem out. Usually a decent scart lead will sort the problem out the one i used to have for my ps1 was no good If you use the lead that came with your ps2 that should work if you using the corect region for your country. Cheers Dal

Hi,
First, thanx for tha fast reply.... The cable that came with the PS2 works, but the picture it generates is of poorer quality (fuzzzy), compared to the grey cable I am using, therefore I want to use the high quality gray cable (btw, it does remove the black/white picture problem of ntsc games on a pal PS, so why not the green problem, or is this a completely different problem?????) Will the new original sony PS2 scart cable, which costs like $50 bucks!!!!, resolve the green haze problem???? About the Blaze scart cable you use, is that a cable which keeps the colors separate until they reach the TV????? Because the scart cable that Sony supplies with the PS2 does not and this creates the fuzzy lower quality picture (if am right???)!!!! Thanx and Greetz...tHe_BiNk......... |
