CD-R Brands
I've just read through some older topics, and there was one that says, that CD-Rs with a lighter surface at the bottom of the CD-R is better for backing up dc games. But I've also read, that Verbatim CD-Rs, which have a blue surface at the bottom, are the best for dc games. Now what is right and and what bullshit?
I've burned some games now, all with Verbatim CD-Rs and some boots better and some don't. For example: Sega GT (with 11 tracks on the 1st session) and Street Fighter Double Impact (where the first 1st and 2nd session was a data track) haven't failed once to load, where games like Jet Grind Radio, Crazy Taxi 2 and Silent Scope, each with audio on 1st session and data on the second one, only seems to randomly boot (mostlikely they won't load but they all have at least once).
Someone know why? Does it have something to do with the CD-Rs? Should I use another brand? If yes, what do you recommend?
