Now i need help with DOA2

Ok i downloaded DOA2 aswell and when i attempted to unrar them it kept saying file corrupt. It was downloaded from coolsite, all 19meg bar one at 13meg 17 files completly downloaded and now im stumped. Please help as i am a newbie and have never done anything like this before. Fankles

Thanks for the honesty. As the great "MOMO" would say... Register with the site first of all..

But, for your quick fix answer; you have a bummed file. You prolly should double ##### if you have all of the files. Then ##### the file size on each one. Also ##### the NFO if there is one... And WTF is "coolsite"? Anything named "coolsite" sounds like an AOL Friendly environment.. Trash it.

Someone else here downloaded DOA@ from the same site and theres seems to work ok. Theres no NFO file there .001 .002 .003 etc.
I'm stumped.

BTW i registered and i was waiting for my email.

Good good good.. Well, I'm not sure what kind of connection you have.. but IF you are using dial up many times there when files corrupt. Even with my cable modem, I have corrupted files. Remember, when you are download any kind of files, it's all "zeros and ones". There are literally billions of nothing but zeros and ones.. and if one zero is a one, or not there.. the whole thing is nuked. Best thing to do, is to do a file integrity scan on the files with WinACE to make sure they are good. If the files are good, you should unistall WinACE and ####t over. If you AREN'T using WinACE.. Get it.

OK tested with WinAce and there was 1 error in all file grrrrrrrrrr
I'm never downloading a game off the net ever again

No sweat, WinACE should tell you exactly which file it had a problem with. If not use WinRAR to find out, it certainly will tell you.

If it says one of the archives is corrupt, then go out and look through the internet for that game. Make sure it is from the same group (Echelon, Deviance) and the right number of files, then simply download the archive WinACE/WinRAR said was corrupt and copy it over the corrupt one.

Simply download the file again. pay attention when winrar is exctracting to what file its on and when it says corrupt redownload. this has happened to me lots before and it always works to redownload

Well fellas i did the next best thing......... i got in sweet with a guy in the States and he felt sorry for me and is actually sending me a copy of DOA2 and a few other games. Lifes good when your a chicky babe lol.
I cracked the poo's with the files i d/l and deleted them so going over the top of them is now out of the question lol
