Help:?copy of a copy?

I have a cd-r self booting version of Nba2k1 ... I wanted to make a copy of it ... shouldn't I be able to make a copy without going through the same ordeal of GD ripping? ... it's in a downsized form and it's seemingly readable ... but I can't seem to copy it straight over ... anyone that can help me? I just joined the forum and i'm new to dreamcast backup creation ... by the way I didn't make the copy... if that wasn't clear already ...

So long as your CD Burner cooperates, any package that is capable of copying a multisession disc should work. Disc Juggler is what a lot of people use, but Nero and CLONECD should also work.
