COPIED GAMES THAT DONT WORK

WHY DO SOME GAMES COPY (LIKE SELF BOOT ONES) AND HAVE ALL THE DATA ON THEM BUT DONT WORK WHEN THEY ARE PUT IN THE DREAMCAST? THEY SEEM FINE TIL U TRY PLAYING THEM. PLZ HELP I USE NERO
