last step of echelon self boot! not a newbie

ok i am using echelon's self booting tutorial. i am using the method for games w/out cdda. i did everything it said, made the 1st session of the cd, made data folder, ran binhack.exe.... everything is ok up to this point, as far as i know. but when i input " mkisofs -C x,y -V ECHELON -l -o data.iso data" it does it very quickly and creates a data.iso that is like 32kb. i talked to someone and they said it should take a few minutes to make the iso, and the tutorial says the iso should be pretty big. i have re-done the whole process and still i have no luck. PLEASE HELP!!
