Gran Turismo Backup

HI there

I have a backed up copy of GT which works on an old Playstation, modell 550?? but the game wont work on a psone 102A.
Totally confused i am as it works on the early playstations but not on a psone. Both machines are modchipped and nero 5.5 was used to burn.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
cheers
simo

you may need to use this

PSOne Patch-It Tool

Quote:
Why do i need to use these patches?

The PSone console (SCPH10x) has a second check in the bios and checks the
game disc is from the same territory as the console. This means that even
though the Psone is fitted with a modchip, it won't boot games that are
outside of the consoles territory. E.g. USA game won't play on a European
PSone console.

What this patch program does is patches the correct territory data to the
game BIN file. E.g If you want an American game to play on a European
Psone, you patch the game BIN file with the PAL patch.
Once you have successfully patched the BIN file, burn it to CDR.
This import game will now boot in your console.
Don’t worry about compatibility with older PSX consoles. Games patched with the program will work fine on older Playstation consoles.
