I had a Big Problem.Plz HeLp Me.......thzz

I am in Australia. recently i rent a PSX game back home and try to have a backup for that. When i was using the CloneCD programe, it can read the CD normally at the first 16%, but after that, the speed drop to 55-100kp. i just waiting.....and waiting...
after i finish it read the CD, and i burn the CD. then i put the CD in to my PS2 machine and try. It run normally, it can detect that it is a PSX game, it can show the intro- movie....but when it go to the main page. It HANG~~~~~~........i don't know why......
I have also using other CD recorder doftware to copy...it seems it doesn't work......Is any one face such problem before??

The second thing is: when i try to see can i copy all the data to my harddisk, Some of the files that end with .str, i can't copy that.......is there have any one can hep me???plssssssssssss
