Some older dvds will fit onto one disc with dvdxcopy and some with extras removed will as well, but for the most part, dvdxcopy requires using two discs. If you want everything to go onto one disc, you might want to look into dvd2one.

It is a program that compresses a dvd to fit onto 1 disc with little to no visible loss in quality.

yep and the compression is done much faster than those of rempeg and CCE and other compression programs out there today....i have successfully made backups of 4 dvds with it.....btw bighap i still havent tried dvdxcopy yet but you will be the first to know as soon as i get my hands on it
