ok ive just started using cce but every time i go to transcode a movie windows xp comes up with an error and it stops responding i tried changing the compatability to windows nt to see if that worked but it just did the same is anyone else having this problem or does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it i need help and fast.

i would use rempeg2 like evryone says but im just not sure how to use it when it gets to the maximum bitrate i tried with minority report but i only had half the movie?????????

not sure what the problem is m8 but rempeg should work cos ive done minority report with it but i did lose a little quality though, also the only thing you need to change with rempeg is the resolution and the file size in the shape of the slider in percentages, you may find that youve only ripped part of the film cos smartripper sometimes goes back to its default maxfilesize of 4000 which will lose u part of the film

i dont use smartripper cause even though i changed the file size to 9000 it still was missing the end of a few movies so i tried dvd decrypter i just picked the main movie to rip and in my folder it gives me one big file and a ac3 file(i followed those instruction from a tutorial)
