PS2 NTSC patching to PAL

Hi you all,

Situation is this:
PS2 (PAL) V7 with Magic2 chip
i have PS-1 games NTSC and PAL, well i patch these NTSC games to become PAL games and this works great.

The PS2 games i have are also NTSC and PAL (i think, how can i figure that out, in PS-1 games there is in the opening screen a message Europe, America or Inc so i knew what i am dealing with...can you figure this out with PS2 ??)
Only thing what occurs is that some games stay black/white soo these must be NTSC

Can i patch these NTSC also like PS-1 so the region becomes also Europe, because the Magic2 only boots PAL in color.......

Gone through the Technical Guide....but can't find anything about patching......can this be done, with PS2-games ???
