sony 8432 scsi audio writing probs

hi guys i gotta prob with my pc at the moment, when trying to write an audio cdwhich contains no gaps between tracks, i always tend to get an write error, this happens at any speed.(im converting mp3 tracks to wav in nero 5),
my set up is a sony crx140s on a adaptec 1542 isa scsi card, the rest of my system is a amdk62450,128mb ram,20.4 gb and 6.8gb hd,voodoo3 3000 graphics,sb128 sound, toshiba dvd 12x drive, all setup on a gigabyte ga 5ax motherboard.

i know the drive isnt faulty and the scsi card ran fine with a ricoh 6200 cdriter b4,so i cant understand what the prob is(da is unchecked), can anyone pls help me.
just another additional point, ive tried different brand of media and its the same, the writer is fine for all other types of writing,i works fine for an audio cd with gaps between tracks
help meeee pleeeeeese

thanks

Hi. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

When burning a disc with no gaps between tracks, you'll need to select "Disc-at-once" in the Burn Tab. This will make sure the laser stays on when writing to the disc. I think what is happening possily, is that the writer is trying to fit too much info on a disc (without the gaps it would fit). I don't know.

Perhaps you could try a different burn program, to rule out a software prob. Also, have you got the latest firmware for your writer?

Hope this helps. All the best.
