History of the CD-R

Hi,
Is anyone out there who can tell me where I can find information about the beginning of the CD-R (who invented, technical data, graphical schemes and so on..)
I didn't find anything useful on the web, so maybe you can help me.

The CD-R was invented by Mr. Tad Ishiguro of the Taiyo Yuden company in Japan. Dr. Ishiguro developed the basic dye technology that is used today on every write once CD-R. What is amazing is that he developed the process over 11 years ago.
