i know how to play pal originals on a jap ps2

if i bought a pal action replay cdx for my ps2. coppied it and patched it to boot on my modded jap ps2 with the aid of the utility disc. if i put a code for a us or pal game do you think it would boot it with it been a copy of the pal action replay.
