Skies of Arcadia Crash

I downloaded skies of arcadia the other day and burned it with diskjuggler and it worked fine until i got to a point in the game where i was swallowed by the arcwhale, anyway after that it just goes to a blank screen and nothing happens, its frozen, if there is anyone out there who can help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated

Isn't that one of the two-disc game backups? If so, there's a spot just before the lockup that you're supposed to exit and save your game info to the VMU, then you insert the second disc and resume the game from the VMU.

But Iam only 1 hr into the game, it can't need the second disk already
