As I have just sayd the secret is in the 'index' option of the cdrecord program.
Last evening I have tried using this option but something went wrong and I wasted another cd
Have downloaded a man-page for the usage but it is very simple written and so it did not helped me a lot.
Today a will try to waste another pair of cd.
So I am not alone in trying to make this work
