Ok, guys, here's what you have to do. At first I had the same problem but not after this.

Now, remember all the copies you put inside your Warcraft III folder to get the .bat file to work? Well, downloading that patch changed your original war3.exe file to 1.01.4483 but not your COPY of the war3.exe file. So, make sure that your original and your copy-of-the-original-but-renamed war3.exe are of the same version.

In my case, these files are inside my WarcraftIII folder:

1. war3.exe <--the ORIGINAL file, version 1.01.4483
2. war3c.exe <--the CRACK file, version 1.01.4482
3. war3o.exe <--the COPY-OF-THE-ORIGINAL file, version 1.01.4483

(Note: B/c I'm using different names from raindeer, my .bat file looks a little different.)

After doing this, voila, you're back on Battlent w/o the CD!!
