Since you have a US PS2, you can wait for the US version of the Messiah to be released.... Depending on what version your PS2 is, it may be compatible with the Messiah NOW......
As Charlie said, have someone who KNOWS EXACTLY what they are doing to do the install.... If you are in the US I would rec.
