Correct me if i wrong but for PS1 games usually requires patching only when Anti Mod is around it..
Otherwise it could be the media or the technique perhaps..
CD to CD maybe? Best thing is Image to CD-R..Or maybe you're burning them too fast? If you're making copy to a copy..try it under 4X..Try Clone CD making image first and then burn on slower speed..CDRwin is not that good from experience when burning copy of a copy..Clone CD is the Best when you're making Copy to a Copy or perhaps Original to CD-R as well..
Sony CD-R,TDK or Verbatim for results.
Generic works as well silver bottoms ones but results always varies leaving you with 50/50 shot compared to Name Brands of 100%..
