What r U Duping With?

Just curious...seems to me the 4.xx versions of CloneCD had a setting for the quality of audio extractions. If so, would raising the quality of the extraction help? (I've gone back to an earlier version of CloneCD because I like the older interface better, and I had no problems with drive support)

If you are not in US or JAPAN, you may have the options for "Amplify weak sectors"-- toggling this may make a difference.

MAKE SURE YOUR ASPI DRIVERS ARE UPDATED!--Someone posted info on this recently--just search forum for "ASPI".

If using CDRWIN, make sure it is version 3.9. I got a leaked version 4.0 beta or something, and it only supported like a dozen drives or so--3.9 has largest compatability to date that I've seen. (unless a 4.0 final is ready?)

Another thing too, if you are using CDRWIN, you can adjust audio and data rate independently--maybe using jitter correction?

Alot of things you could try that might help--depending on what you are using. You could even try using ISO Buster to do the extraction?

A little more info may be needed to offer better help.

One thing that I sometimes run into is not only dirty source media, but also dirty destination media. Try cleaning them both prior to burning them. Do everything you can to SLOW the extraction process. Subcodes in full diagnosis, lowest extraction speed, etc.

Depending on your hardware, you may have a firmware update available--my LTR-12101B had trouble with my 32X media--sometimes it wouldn't recognise the blanks! Updated the firmware, and BAM! It reads and burns up to 40X media like a champ now! (this may apply also to your source drive if not reading with the burner)

It may also benefit to move the Source drive to it's own IDE/SCSI controller directly off the motherboard if possible--some apps wouldn't find my CDR when it was on my ATA100 card, then I moved things around and put it on it's own channel as master only--made a big difference with compatability.

The list of things to try can continue on exponentially to lunacy, but the best advice is what busson was referring to--repair the source disc with a DiskDoctor. Good Luck
