I had the same problems and found a lot of .ACE extractor programs failing. I finally tried winace from
www.winace.com and went to TuCows via a UK server. I downloaded and installed Winace 2.11. I tried another winace 2.11 from another site but it crashed. Also, beware some of the .ACE files don't seem to be 100% there on games archive. Winace was found on
