The Mech Paks uses the Macrovision safedisk program for copy protection. The method used for the Mech Paks installs a directory to the C: drive that stores the copy protection information, this allows the Mech Paks to be installed, but allows the Mech Pak CD to not be in the disk drive during verification. This file is checked by the Game each time it is run to verify that you have a unique copy of the Mech Paks.>>
