Hi m8ty
Need a little bit of info from you m8ty,like where you are in the world and what's the puter you have and the make and model of your reader and re-writer.
But the disabled function you are talking about is "amplify weak sectors" which is a feature of safedisc v2 protection (they put weak sectors on the disc so when you attempt to back up the re-written section is too weak for you laser to read thus game does not run)
The actual backing up of psx games does not require this function (psx/libcrypt protection) is all about sub-channel data & audio, you reader has to be able to read it,and you writer write it . (check
www.elaborate-bytes.com for a reader-writer compaterbility list)
Just one last note though, if you want to enable the "amplify weak sectors" then if you in the US then go into you region settings on your puter and set it for 'canada' or if in UK set for 'ireland' cos there are no recognised copyright laws in these countries, then change back when your done.
Hope this helps somewhat?
