Follow Echelon's selfboot tutorial. I know you don't care about selfbooting your games, but it's really easy.

1) burn your music (CDDA)
2) make an ip.bin
3) binhack your ip.bin / 1st_read.bin
4) make a 9660 image
5) burn it
